May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Dear Parents/ Guardians:

May is Mental Health month. Here at HAS we believe that talking about our feelings is a healthy thing. We aim to reduce the stigma around mental health and promote positive communication, conflict resolution and healthy coping skills.

During the Month of May we will be working with our students on normalizing big feelings and how to talk to a trusted adult about them, as well as what is stress and how to manage it.

Please help us by continuing these important conversations at home.

Thank you,
