Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please refrain from texting your child via their cell phone/smartwatches during the school day. Contacting them during the school day is a distraction and takes away from their learning. The expectation is that cell phones are off and away and smartwatches are only used to tell time during the school day. If a message comes through, they are inclined to look, which takes their attention away from learning.
