at AJ s we give students and stuff just a few minutes to be present present and in the before starting the week you are invited to close your eyes if you would like let your hands rest call me on your knees grow a little taller by lifting your spine and gently rolling your filter take a deep breath in not a long breath out then quietly in your mind think about the word adjust to adjust me to change something so it fits for Vons or confirmed if you think about it we are all adjusting to the school year we have had to adjust to a full day of school add a whale eating our lunch play and playing at recess teachers have had to adjust how they teach several times since the pandemic began each day take some time to be reflective and how events are unfolding if we have a conflict with someone think about how you might adjust or think you're thinking or mindset are you really trying to put yourself in their shoes are you trying to understand where the person is coming from this week let's focus on how we can adjust and adapt throughout our day if something isn't working try to change how you are approaching the problem if we all work to adjust each day he will achieve success and feel at ease remember we are all together as a school community are you take a deep breath in and think again about the water just take another deep breath in and let along workout open your eyes you are ready for this day
