good morning Hillside Avenue school today is Wednesday June 15th please rise for the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all attention students if you have any library books checked out please return them to weary as soon as possible please see Miss Waxman if you think you have lost your book attention all 8th grade students interesting in playing field hockey for Cranford High School this upcoming fall I'll be a team meeting on Thursday June 16th stop in room g201 at CHS after-school see you there today's way back Wednesday let's go back and listen group is a Palestinian teacher who won the gold teacher prize in 2016 for efforts to spread and anti-violence message throughout through all through GroupMe refugee camp and regularly witness act of violence in her childhood she decided to go into teaching after her own children were shot by Schultz soldiers on the way home from school and she saw how the impact of the event changed her their behavior as a teacher all frob noticed that children were bringing the violence they saw outside in the outside crawled into the classroom she developed a specialist approach to combat this based on building trusting relationships and encouraging students to work together through learning and play she has to install a Palestinian refugee camps and her methods are so successful they are now to all over the world she says when I say no violence I passed it on to the stew without them noticing it we must teach children that our only weapon is knowledge and education with something to think about this is Emma Gutierrez have a wonderful Wednesday
